This is a picture of a winch-on boat lift in a marina in Sarnia. Usually, in the winter, there is ice in this marina. The 17' Boston Whaler is left on the lift all year round, even in the ice. Normally, the owner would have to pay to remove the boat every fall and install it every spring because of ice. Since the EZ Docks are not damaged in this ice condition, the boat is safe.
